Anything is POssible for Girls in Electrical Engineering

Anything is POssible for Girls in Electrical Engineering (APOGEE – the most successful, popular or powerful point).

This five-day camp, tailored for girls, will give your child an opportunity to experience and explore the exciting career behind our modern, technological society. They will learn about the electronics and signals that surround us every day, get the chance to interact and work with female electrical engineers and students, and be introduced to the hands-on, do-it-yourself (DIY) culture.

In this camp, the students will tour labs where electronics are fabricated, learn about the industries and organizations that hire electrical engineers as well as about careers of successful women in engineering, and have the opportunity to interact with and ask questions of a prestigious group of female electrical engineers from around the world.

Interconnects and Wearable Tech

Wearable technologies allow us to interact with the world around us more and more each year. They talk with us, sense us and our environment, they entertain us, and they connect us globally, making us all a part of the internet of things (IoT).  From your smartphone or fitness tracker today, to smart clothing or glasses tomorrow, to wherever your imagination takes you after that, electrical engineering plays the key role.
