Silicon Happy Valley

Connecting the Penn State EECS Community

Silicon Happy Valley (SHV) is an award-winning forum sponsored by the Penn State School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Alumni Society to bring together the EECS community to network, exchange ideas, learn about emerging trends and technologies, and promote and reinforce our industry partners’ interest in Penn State engineering.

Each year Penn State alumni, students, faculty, staff, and industry partners meet to discuss key topics in our chosen professions. In 2016 the Penn State Alumni Association presented the EECS alumni society its prestigious Professional Development Award for this innovative annual conference series.

Join us for the 4th Annual Silicon Happy Valley 2018 Friday, October 12 at the Hetzel Union Building. This year’s theme is “Cognitive Technologies - Exploring Intelligent Systems and their Future Potential.”

The Call for Presentations for Silicon Happy Valley 2018 is open through June 1, 2018. Please follow this link to submit your abstract for consideration.
